When a “Forever War” finds a resolution, not everyone is ready to make peace between Eiram and E’ronoh. We discuss the latest novel in The High Republic.
The next installment of The High Republic takes Star Wars fans to the neighboring worlds of Eiram and E’ronoh. Although neighbors, these two worlds have been locked in a “forever war,” but Princess Xiri A’lbaran of E’ronoh has finally negotiated a cease fire. Peace has a chance, but that chance is put in jeopardy when sabotage causes an E’roni fighter to nearly attack Eiram’s capital. With the aid of the Jedi and the Republic, Xiri forges ahead with a new plan for peace: uniting the worlds of Eiram and E’ronoh through her marriage to Eiram’s heir, Phan-tu Zenn. The pair will face trials, but they are aided by Jedi Knight Gella Nattai and Axel Greylark, son of the Chancellor of the Republic. Not everyone wants peace though. Can these four make it a reality?
