Joe joins Brent for some talk about Reypocalypse!

Bill is out for the week, so Joe is joined once again by special guest Brent AKA BMAN133 to talk about this week in Reypocalypse. The week has been stuffed to the gills with Rey themed cards, and the guys get straight into talking about which are the best, which are the worst, and why just adding more and more colors of the same types of cards isn’t necessarily the greatest thing in the world.
When it comes to the weekly poll, it’s still the Reypocalypse that is the talk of the show. For this week, the poll examined all the various ‘Hero Celebration’ cards that dropped and let people decide which were their favorites and least favorites. Unsurprisingly, random color variations do not fare well in the poll.
Another big change was the change to the gold meld chase, going from 100 simple white base cards to requiring a big stack of cards from every color variant. Will this stop people trying to hoard 15 different characters? Or are we simply in for a world where every single person refuses to trade any color of base lest they be cheated when the time for a gold meld comes around? Only time will tell, but Joe and Brent have some ideas on the subject. In the meantime, Joe and Brent go on a healthy amount of tangents related to all thing Star Wars, and once again Joe is making ridiculous statements about things that are sure to get some of the listening audience fired up.
Finally, which hero would most people want to see be the subject of a future hero celebration? And will we see more hero celebrations in the future or was this just a special one-off occurrence? The votes were surprisingly split, so you’ll have to listen to see who won!
