The Deucecast Movie Show #446: Tomato Disparities and Honoring Chadwick Boseman

by RetroZap Staff

We honor Chadwick Boseman and then discuss the movies with the biggest disparity between the Critics and Audience Scores on Rotten Tomatoes.

As 2020 rolls on, the hits keep on coming, and The Deucecast Crew — Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessButNotDiscordlessDr Earl just roll with them.

First, a quick look at “New Mutants” and the reopening of theaters.  Then, the guys address the gut punch that happened over the weekend… the death of Chadwick Boseman.

Discovering the news from a tweet, the guys talk about the untimely passing of Boseman, and his great movie roles and legacy.

Finally, it what seems like something not nearly important, yet entertaining, the guys give their top five movies with the largest gap between critics score and audience score on Rotten Tomatoes… familiar topics like Kevin Smith movies to less critically acclaimed, yet audience fave films from Alex Kendrick.  #TwitterlessButNotDiscordlessDrEarl even expresses his admiration for David Spade, while Dave loves The Rock wielding a 2×4, and Mikey quotes Chaucer…

Stick around for one final Chadwick Boseman nod.
