The Deucecast Movie Show #429: On the Mark

by RetroZap Staff

What are those movie moments you love, who are the actresses and actors you love, or what are some movie tropes you love? Mark out with us!

In the new episode of The Deucecast Movie Show, the guys ‘fess up about the things they are passionate about when it comes to movies. Mikey, Dave, and The Twitterless One, #TwitterlessDrEarl brings up those things in movies they “mark out for”. From the Urban Dictionary: When you “mark out”, you stand up for something or believe something completely.  Believing something completely.

And to help the guys mark out, they bring in a Friend of the Show who always marks out for The Deucecast, Miss Independent himself, Jeremy Burgess.

First up, a game of Rotten Tomatoes, checking out movies all about spring — call out your score, whoever is closer (over or under) and get the point.

And then the crew looks at the directors, actors, genres, scenes, tropes and more they “mark out for”, or “stan” for, or even as #TwitterlessDrEarl would say, “find groovy, the bees knees, the cat’s pajamas”…  media movies… legendary logos… superstar deaths… and getting nekkid. Just listen. You’ll get it.

The Deucecast podcast, movie

The Deucecast Movie Show is a podcast done by movie fans for movie fans of all kinds. Hosts Mikey, Dave, and featured friend of the show #TwitterlessDrEarl, along with a rotating cast of fun guests, discuss all sorts of movies–from new to old, fantastic to craptastic and everything in between.  Expect themed episodes, feature lists, favorite movies, and tournaments pitting movie against movie or actor against act because we love a good bracket. Play along with movie games like “Denzel” or “The Ryan Philippe Game,” then participate in voting in the annual Deucie Awards and yell at us when someone defends a Damon Wayans movie as “nearly the perfect film.” If you love movies, then you’ll love The Deucecast Movie Show! We love to interact with our listeners so please subscribe to the podcast and send us an email, tweets, and comments as you listen at your leisure. The more the merrier, so thanks for tuning in!
