The Deucecast Movie Show #338: RomComs of the Century (with Teresa Delgado)

by RetroZap Staff

Dave, Mikey, and Twitterless Dr. Earl are joined by Teresa Delgado to discuss our favorite RomComs of this Century.

The Deucecast Movie Show continues to look at the best movies of the 21st Century, this time turning attention to their Favorite Romantic Comedies of the Century.  But can Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl truly give perspective on such RomComs masterpieces like “Legally Blonde” or “Hitch”? Probably not.

So joining the guys on the Binder & Binder Law Firm hotline is the Fangirl who turned her Fangirling into a Podcast Empire, the supergeeky, supercool, and superbusy co-host of Disney Vault Talk, Galactic Fashion, Star Wars Bookworms and Fangirls Going Rogue and more… Friend of the Show Teresa Delgado!

First up, a look at all the things Teresa is doing, including her podcasts and projects, opinions on the latest Star Wars news, what’s next for Disney Vault Talk, and some other great discussion. Plus, her recommendations on the best Star Wars books
Then, diving into the cinematic romance, the crew lists their favorite RomComs released from Jan 1, 2000 to.. well, yesterday.
Dave gives his defense of pre-crazy Amanda Bynes, the Greek comedy “My Life in Ruins”, and more love for Amy Adams. #TwitterlessDrEarl discusses movies that may or may not be a RomCom, like “The Lobster” or “Wall*E”, and being “Knocked Up”.  Mikey spills on his favorite tennis romance, Jack Black’s Kathleen Turner Overdrive, and being “Down with Love”. And Teresa is all about “What a Girl Wants” and the chemistry between Tom Hanks & Julia Roberts.
