Welcome to episode 67.1 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: Signal from Sector Six. On this episode, Dennis and Darth Taxus are discussing the latest episode of Resistance. This is Taxus’s first opportunity to discuss Resistance on Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels. It marks the return of Poe Dameron and features Kowakian ape-lizards. Seriously.
Signal from Sector Six
The latest episode of Resistance has Yeager waking Kaz up early for a special salvaging job. However, that was just a cover story for a rendezvous with Poe Dameron. Once reunited, Kaz and Poe take to space with some X-Wings. Before long, they receive a distress signal. When they investigate, they find a freighter attacked by pirates. Closer inspection reveals a rampant…Kowakian ape-lizard! Can they recover a survivor of the pirate attack and get off the freighter?
This episode clearly sets up further adventures and stories on Resistance. What is the survivor of the freighter up to? What is the plan for Colossus Station for the pirates and the First Order? Also, who knew that Kowakian ape-lizards were a thing in Star Wars?
