Animaniacs Creator Tom Ruegger to be Regular Guest on RetroZap’s Animanicast
Series creator to share insider info and personal stories from the production of the classic animated series.
SALEM, MA, September 13, 2017 – Tom Ruegger, Series Creator and Senior Producer of the hit animated television series Animaniacs, will be a regular, recurring guest on the podcast the Animanicast, featured on the RetroZap Podcast Network.
“Hellllooooo Animanicast! I’ve enjoyed the Animanicast podcast over the past year, and appreciate all the kind words and praise that Joey, Kelly and Nathan have heaped upon Animaniacs,” Ruegger says. “I also admire all the time and effort they have devoted to making a great weekly podcast.”

Joseph Letson, one-third of the triumvirate of Animanicast hosts that includes his brother Nathan Letson and their friend Kelly Adams, is thrilled about the new partnership. “When we started the Animanicast we never dreamed that we would have the opportunity to work with Tom Ruegger on a regular basis,” says Letson. “We’re looking forward to learning about the production process behind Animaniacs with the man who helped bring it to life!”
Needless to say, the three were pleasantly surprised when Series Creator Tom Ruegger sought them out to discuss the prospect of recurring interviews and guest spots.
“I think it’ll be fun to join in on the discussion with these three genuine “Animaniac” experts and share some insider info about the show, about how it was made, and offer up some anecdotes and stories about some of the talented people who brought “Animaniacs”to life,” says Ruegger. “And who knows?
