by Podcast Stardust

The Star Wars: The Rise of Skwyalker: Exapnded Edition novelization of the film is the central focus of this week’s Star Wars discussion.

Rae Carson’s novelization of The Rise of Skywalker has been available in book stores for a few weeks now. It is time to dive into the details of the book and how they flesh out and expand the story of the film. This week, we discuss how successful the novelization of the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga was and how it compares to the film.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss Rae Carson’s adaptation of The Rise of Skywalker as a novel, including:

  • Leia’s role and training as a Jedi,
  • The expanded presence of Zorii Bliss,
  • Allegiant General Pryde’s expanded story,
  • Rey’s healing abilities and how they worked,
  • The Emperor’s expanded story, and
  • How the Expanded Edition compliments the movie with additional details.
