Podcast Stardust #79: The Clone Wars – Gone with a Trace – 0705

by Podcast Stardust

Ahsoka Tano returns in the most recent Star Wars: The Clone Wars. We discuss her adjustment to life outside the Jedi Temple in the depths of Coruscant.

At long last, Ahsoka Tano has returned to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Life hasn’t been the same for Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan since she decided to leave the Jedi Order at the conclusion of season five. Now, Ahsoka is making her own way in the galaxy, but when she is forced to make a crash landing on level 1313 in the Coruscant underworld, she learns some harsh truths about the Jedi, the Republic, and the Clone Wars.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • Ahsoka’s crash landing on level 1313 and its significance,
  • How Ahoska relates to Trace and Rafa,
  • The perception of the Jedi and the Republic in the lower levels of Coruscant,
  • Trace and Ahsoka’s pursuit of the rampaging droid,
  • A cool Easter egg during the chase,
  • The origins of the Pintu character, and
  • Rafa’s outlook on life and doing what she has to do.
