Podcast Stardust #66: The Clone Wars – The Bad Batch – 0701

by Podcast Stardust

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is back! On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss Captain Rex’s new adventure with mutant clones in “The Bad Batch.”

After the #SaveTheCloneWars movement was successful, Star Wars fans finally have new episodes of The Clone Wars. The seventh and final season begins with the further adventures of Commander Cody and Captain Rex as they work with Clone Force 99 (a.k.a. “The Bad Batch”) to infiltrate a Separatist Cyber Center and determine exactly how the Separatists are countering their battle strategies. The answer is a bit shocking.

On this episode, we discuss:

  • The new “defective” clones with desirable mutations,
  • Clone Force 99 vs. the “Regs,”
  • The return of Admiral Trench,
  • The history of Anaxes in Star Wars,
  • The quality of the animation and battle scenes,
  • How the Separatists are winning the battle against the Republic, and
  • The potential that an ally thought dead is in fact alive.

Thanks for joining us for another episode. Please subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts and spread the word to all of your Star Wars friends. May the Force be with you!
