Podcast Stardust #44: Breakout

by Podcast Stardust

Kaz and Norvath execute a rescue mission to free Synara, Yeager, and CB-23 on the latest episode of Star Wars: Resistance: “Breakout.”

Resistance pickups up with the resolution to the last episode’s cliffhanger. Yeager, CB-23, and Synara are in the custody of the bounty hunter Ax Tagrin. To make matters worse, the First Order has arrived. Now, Kaz and Resistance agent Norvath must devise a plan to rescue their allies. Their troubles don’t end there. They need the assistance of the Colossus, but Captain Doza is growing increasingly worried as the First Order closes in on their position. We review and discuss “Breakout” on the latest episode of our fully armed and operational podcast.

On this fully armed and operational podcast, we discuss:

  • The evolving tone of Star Wars: Resistance,
  • The competence demonstrated by Kaz in executing his plan,
  • Torra and the Ace’s role in the rescue,
  • The pacing and structure of this episode, and

Where the last few episodes of Resistance might be going.

Podcast Stardust is the fully armed and operational podcast inspired by the code name for the Death Star. Hosted by first-generation Star Wars fans, Dennis Keithly and Jay Krebs, Podcast Stardust endeavors to bring thought provoking discussion on recent Star Wars news on a weekly basis. Between news episodes, Dennis and Jay review the latest episodes from Star Wars television covering everything from ResistanceRebels, and The Clone Wars to The Mandalorian and other live action productions on Disney+. Of course, Podcast Stardust wouldn’t be complete without thematic discussions, top ten lists, and interviews on everything from Star Wars literature, comics, and the films themselves.
