Phase one of The High Republic has come to a close. Marchion Ro and the Nihil successfully destroyed Starlight Beacon, the Republic’s symbol of hope and power in the Outer Rim Territories. While the Republic and the Jedi huddle and plot their next moves, Marchion Ro gloats to a fearful galaxy and a captured Jedi. His taunts are not idle boasting, and he tells his Jedi prisoner about his past, which reveals clues and insight into his motivations.
