Podcast Stardust #329: Rebels – Steps Into Shadow, Part 1 – 0301

by Podcast Stardust

Ezra embraces the influence of the Sith Holocron when the Rebels rescue Hondo Ohnaka. Also, Grand Admiral Thrawn enters the conflict.

With a just a few months to go before The Book of Boba Fett comes to Disney+, we thought it would be fun to return to some Star Wars television. Therefore, we are beginning our review of season three of Rebels on this episode. Things have changed a lot since we lost saw the crew of the Ghost. Ezra is a little older, and he has been studying a Sith holocron. Kanan is still coming to terms with the loss of his eyesight. The Empire grows frustrated with the Rebels’ attacks, and Governor Pryce requests that Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Seventh Fleet be tasked to handle them. This is an amazing season of Rebels, so please join us as we begin our discussion.

In this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • The new character appearances of the Rebels for season three,
  • Governor Pryce’s first appearance in the series,
  • Hondo Ohnaka’s return to Rebels,
  • Ezra’s reliance on the Sith Holocron he found in season two,
  • Kanan coming to terms with his blindness,
  • The introduction of the Bendu and what he intends to teach Kanan, and
  • The arrival of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
