Podcast Stardust #31: A Dynasty of Sith

by Podcast Stardust

The Jedi aren’t the only Force users with a long lineage in Star Wars. On this fully armed and operational episode, we focus on the Sith.

From Darth Bane to Darth Vader, the Sith have followed a Rule of Two. Unlike the Jedi, their numbers were few with one master to embody power and an apprentice to crave it. Despite this defined lineage of Sith through the millennia, the methods of their recruitment, the tactics, and their styles varied greatly. We dive in to their history on Episode 31: “A Dynasty of Sith.”

On this episode, we discuss:

  • Darth Bane and the Rule of Two,
  • Darth Zannah and her search for an apprentice,
  • Darth Plagueis and his recruitment of Palpatine,
  • Darth Sidious achieving the Sith’s revenge, and
  • We compare and contrast how the Sith were recruited and their line of succession.
