This episode of Podcast Stardust focuses on another Star Wars character from Legends: Tahiri Veila. We explore the many tragedies that shaped her journey.
Episode 306 of Podcast Stardust concludes a trilogy of episodes that see this podcast detouring to the Legends timeline. On episode 303, we discussed the Yuuzhan Vong, the villains of The New Jedi Order. Then, on episode 305, we discussed Troy Denning’s Star By Star, which told of the Jedi mission to destroy the voxyn queen and Anakin Solo’s demise as Coruscant fell. Now, we turn to the character of Tahiri Veila. Her story is a tragic one. We’ll begin with her beginnings, but we primarily focus on the effect that the Yuuzhan Vong and Anakin Solo’s death had on her before her role in the second Galactic Civil War and how she became a Sith apprentice. Plus, Jay will discuss some of her techniques for cosplaying Tahiri and share some of her favorite quotes.
