Cham Syndalla hopes for peace on Ryloth, but the Empire has other ideas. Hera Syndulla also returns to Star Wars and meets Omega during a supply run.
Episode 11 of season one of The Bad Batch is unique in that the Bad Batch are only minor players during the episode. Instead, this episode focuses on the Syndulla family on Ryloth. Now that the Clone Wars are over, Cham Syndulla attempts to lead his people into an age of peace and encourages them to work with the Empire. However, all is not well. His trusted ally, Gobi, is arming his people. Senator Orn Free Ta believes that Cham is an insurrectionist that must be dealt with. And then there is Hera, Cham’s daughter, and her droid, Chopper. Hera is young and inexperienced, and her actions bring the Syndulla’s into conflict that the Empire may have been planning for. Join us on Podcast Stardust for a look at Hera’s debut in The Bad Batch.
On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:
- The state of Ryloth after the Clone Wars,
- Cham Syndulla’s state of mind,
