Podcast Stardust #271: The Bad Batch – Battle Scars – 0107

by Podcast Stardust

The Bad Batch catch up with an old friend and devise a way to remove their inhibitor chips. The trick is removing Wrecker’s in time.

The Bad Batch continue to run missions for Cid as they contemplate their future. After their latest mission, the legendary clone Captain Rex pays them a visit, but is alarmed to discover they have not removed their inhibitor chips. They soon put plans in place to remove the chips. However, it is never as easy as it seems. Can they save Wrecker before his chip activates? We discuss Clone Force 99’s trip to Bracca here on Podcast Stardust.

On the fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • Whether Cid is taking advantage of the Bad Batch ,
  • Captain Rex’s arrival and how he learned of their location,
  • Rex’s alarm when Wrecker starts complaining of headaches,
  • Why Mantell Mix is a special Easter egg in this episode,
  • The arrival of the Bad Batch on Bracca and how the planet played a roll in Jedi: Fallen Order,
  • The dianoga found in the wreckage of a Venator-class cruiser,
  • How Rex and the Bad Batch figured out how to remove the inhibitor chips, and
  • Wrecker’s inhibitor chip activating and changing him.
