Podcast Stardust #223: Return of Republic Commando

by Podcast Stardust

The Bad Batch gets a release date, Senator Amidala features in a new book, and Republic Commando returns to consoles.

Although fans knew Lucasfilm was developing a The Bad Batch series for some time after the conclusion of season seven of The Clone Wars, they didn’t know when it would debut. That question is answered in this week’s news. Plus, we discuss the announcement of E.K. Johnston’s next book about Padmé Amidala and what we hope to see. After that, we dive into the latest The High Republic character video about Marchion Ro and discuss, without spoilers, some thoughts on the characters. Also, a classic Star Wars video game is coming the current generation consoles.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • The announcement of the premiere date of The Bad Batch,
  • A new book from E.K. Johnston concerning Padmé Amidala,
  • The latest character video for The High Republic featuring Marchion Ro, and
  • The return of Republic Commando for the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
