Podcast Stardust #220: New Boba Fett Comic

by Podcast Stardust

Rian Johnson may be creating more Star Wars after all, Boba Fett gets a new comic, and the winners of LEGO’s Star Wars holiday contest.

A new Star Wars trilogy from Rian Johnson was announced years ago ahead of the release of The Last Jedi. Since then, the project has seemingly fallen off of Lucasfilm’s radar with Star Wars movies from Patti Jenkins and Taika Waititi taking the forefront. This week, news emerged that perhaps Rian Johnson’s trilogy isn’t over after all. We also get really excited for a new comic series coming from Charles Soule that will feature the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy: Boba Fett.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • The news that Rian Johnson’s Star Wars trilogy may still be alive,
  • Gina Carano is no longer employed by Lucasfilm,
  • Master Sskeer gets a The High Republic video,
  • Boba Fett to feature in War of the Bounty Hunters,
  • A new Star Wars arena style game for the Nintendo Switch, and
  • The winners of the LEGO Star Wars holiday contest.
