Podcast Stardust #167: Clone Wars – Chapters 21 & 22

by Podcast Stardust

This week, we turn to volume two of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars as the Jedi are rescued from Grievous and Anakin becomes a Jedi Knight.

Clone Wars continues with volume 2! Genndy Tartakovsky’s tale of the war between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith is back with the story of how Anakin Skywalker becomes a Jedi Knight. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin are no longer master and apprentice and their relationship evolves into one of “brothers.” With the change of Anakin’s status comes a new mission from the Jedi Council as the war between the Republic and the Separatists continues.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • The ARC Troopers rescue of Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Shak-Ti,
  • Anakin and Padmé’s rendezvous in the lower levels of Coruscant,
  • The Jedi Council’s decision to make Anakin a Jedi Knight,
  • The depictions of the war across the galaxy,
  • Count Dooku, General Grievous, and Darth Sidious’s plan for the final assault on the Republic, and
  • Obi-Wan and Anakin’s mission to Nelvaan.
