Podcast Stardust #158: Clone Wars – Chapters 10-13

by Podcast Stardust

Anakin goes head-to-head with Asajj Ventress in a dogfight in the skies of Muunilinst while Mace Windu takes on a seismic tank on Dantooine.

Our discussion of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars continues with chapters 10 through thirteen. In these episodes, Anakin Skywalker pursues Asajj Ventress through space and the streets of Muunilinst against Obi-Wan Kenobi’s orders. The action then turns to Dantooine where Mace Windu leads an army of Clone Troopers against a Separatist army of Super Battle Droids when a new superweapon arrives.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • Anakin’s combat prowess in space,
  • Anakin’s custom Jedi starfighter,
  • The Clones choice of fighter craft and the ships used by the Separatists,
  • Obi-Wan’s frustration with Anakin disobeying direct orders,
  • How Clone Wars might be interpreted as a myth or legend in the Star Wars galaxy,
  • The seismic tank used by the Separatists on Dantooine,
  • Mace Windu’s combat style, and
  • How powerful in the Force Mace was.
