The Star Wars movies feature several notable sayings that convey the wisdom of the various Jedi masters. We discuss many of them in this episode.
The Jedi are more than just warrior monks that have access to a mystical force that helps them defend peace in the galaxy. The Jedi Order fostered wisdom and philosophy. However, not every Jedi subscribed to the same pool of wisdom. In this episode of Podcast Stardust, we explore the various nuggets of wisdom expressed by Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Yoda over the course of the Star Wars movies, apply them to our lives, and discuss the interpretation in the context of the movie.
On the latest fully armed and operational episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:
- The wisdom of Qui-Gon Jinn and statements such as, “Your focus determines your reality,”
- How Obi-Wan’s oft maligned statement that “only the Sith deal in absolutes” should be interpreted,
- The relevance of Yoda’s admonition to Anakin that, “fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, [and] hate leads to suffering,” and
- Some of context of the statements made by the Jedi throughout the movies.
