Podcast Stardust #121: The Voices of Doctor Aphra

by Podcast Stardust

On this week’s coverage of Star Wars news, we discuss a stormtrooper cameo in The Rise of Skywalker and the voice cast for the Doctor Aphra audio drama.

The full voice cast for the forthcoming audio drama adapting Doctor Aprha’s introduction from the pages of Kieron Gillen’s Darth Vader has been announced. Since this is a slow news week (we recorded prior to the announcement of The Mandalorian publishing initiative, we spend some extra time discussing the cast, their previous Star Wars work, and what the inclusion of their characters may mean for the story.

On this fully armed and operational edition of Podcast Stardust, we discuss:

  • A previously secret cameo for a notable Star Wars composer,
  • Other cameos in recent Star Wars movies,
  • Who we would want to play in a cameo in Star Wars,
  • The announcement of the voice cast for the upcoming Star Wars audio drama about Doctor Aphra,
  • How some of the roles revealed may reveal some of the additional scenes being added to Aphra’s story, and
  • Sarah Kuhn’s recent interview about writing the Doctor Aphra audio drama.
