Podcast Stardust #113: Rebels – Fighter Flight – 0104

by Podcast Stardust

Our Star Wars: Rebels review continues with “Fighter Flight.” Ezra and Zeb engage in hi-jinks and a rescue as they commandeer a TIE Fighter while looking for fruit.

Ezra and Zeb engage in a buddy adventure as they complete Hera’s shopping list only to see things go wrong. Before they know it, they have stolen a TIE Fighter and are engaged in a rescue operation.

On this fully armed and operational episode, we discuss:

  • Some of the Easter eggs hidden in the episode,
  • Ezra and Zeb coming to terms as allies and brothers on the Ghost,
  • Ezra constantly reminding Zeb that he saved his life,
  • The alternating roles of elder sibling between Zeb and Sabine,
  • Kanan and Hera’s roles as the parents of the crew,
  • Ezra and Zeb escaping from the Empire and commandeering a TIE Fighter, and
  • Ezra and Zeb’s rescue of some local farmers from the Empire.

Podcast Stardust is the fully armed and operational podcast inspired by the code name for the Death Star. Hosted by first-generation Star Wars fans, Dennis Keithly and Jay Krebs, Podcast Stardust endeavors to bring thought provoking discussion on recent Star Wars news on a weekly basis. Between news episodes, Dennis and Jay review the latest episodes from Star Wars television covering everything from ResistanceRebels, and The Clone Wars to The Mandalorian and other live action productions on Disney+.
