MCU: Location Scout – Stephen Strange’s Apartment

Sometimes finding filming locations is not hard. Stephen Strange’s Apartment is a good example. But there’s definitely a satisfying moment when you can match up the film frame with a real life location!

LOCATION: Stephen Strange’s Apartment Building (300 W 86th St., New York, NY 10024)
SHOW: Doctor Strange (2016)

In trying to figure out where Stephen Strange lives, in the 2016 film Doctor Strange, one can have a bit of a conundrum. Based on the views from his apartment, he’s in the Flatiron District. But the other scene of his car leaving his building is somewhere on the Upper West Side.

Stephen Strange's Apartment Stephen Strange's ApartmentOnLocationVacations.com had a post mentioning that some filming as taking place near West End Ave in the Upper West Side. Some quick looking at Google Maps put the location at the building at W 86th St and West End Ave.
