Skywalking Through Neverland teams up with Star Wars Artist Randy Martinez to talk Classic Marvel Star Wars Comics from the 70s and 80s. This time, it’s issue #14: “The Sound of Armageddon”

In this episode we look at 1978’s Star Wars #14: THE SOUND OF ARMAGEDDON. Richard brings stories from his past with these comics, including a shoplifting story (*gasp*), Sarah is the newbie with thoughts on reading them for the first time. And Star Wars artist Randy Martinez brings his professional artists eye to these issues. Let’s check out this issue #14.

Synopsis: Quarg and the Dragon Lords are still at battle. Han is believed dead after the crash which enrages Chewbacca causing him to attack Luke! Quarg continues the struggle to pull down Crimson Jack’s giant stolen star destroyer with his sonic-jammer.

Meanwhile The Dragon Lords have rescued Han and taken him to a secret underground cave. The leader of the Dragon Lords tells Han that Quarg’s jammer is driving the sea serpents mad and slowly killing them. Han agrees to help if they agree to help him in return by salvaging the Millennium Falcon.

Governor Quarg has found Princess Leia hiding within the Millennium Falcon and sets to use her demise as an example to her friends. Luke reunites with Han and fills him in on his plan that will do away with Quarg and the sonic-jammer, and, will help save the sea dragons…
