Ant-Man & The Wasp

Disney’s 2018 Preview was released this week, and fans got a special new image from the upcoming movie Ant-Man and The Wasp! The image features the two heroes in their suits–which is the first official picture of Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) as The Wasp. A synopsis of the film highlights that Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and The Wasp will have to team up on a new mission to learn about the past. Not much more was revealed. But the suits look great! Ant-Man and the Wasp comes to theaters July 6. And if you haven’t seen Ant-Man in a while, go watch it! It’s an underrated part of the MCU!

Solo: A Star Wars Story

There has not been too much revealed on the Solo film as of yet, but this week Lucasfilm released the official movie synopsis. Here is the set-up: “Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.” Sounds like this film will be a wild ride! Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25.

Black Panther

Marvel is gearing up for next month’s debut of Black Panther–three new tv spots hit this week. The spots feature the rise of King T’Challa, his Wakandan warriors in action, and a glimpse of the battle that is coming to Wakanda. Check out the other to short videos on YouTube. Black Panther comes to theaters February 16th.

RoboCop: Citizens Arrest

Boom Studios is reviving RoboCop with a new comic book miniseries! The series is set 30 years after the events of the 1987 RoboCop movie. Citizens are the police force now, they use apps to report crime and gain profit. RoboCop himself has become a by-gone tool. io9.com has a great interview with the writer and artist of the new series, Brian Wood and Jorge Coelho. The new miniseries seems very intriguing and the art is fantastic, a real 1980s throwback vibe. RoboCop: Citizens Arrest hits shelves in April.
