Each and every week, Joey, Nathan and Kelly revisit an episode of Animaniacs in the order in which they first premiered. They discuss their favorite jokes, gags, and discuss all the cultural references they can find. Today the hosts discuss and review episode 87 of Animaniacs!
The hosts of the Animanicast discuss episode 87 of Animaniacs. First the Warners become secret agents, then they go on a cruise with Dr. S. and finally they all sing a song all about time.
From Burbank with Love
It’s secret agent Warners in this James Bond Spoof. Yakko, Wakko and Dot are Agents from America helping 0007 stop a criminal mastermind from stealing all the money from Fort Knox. Of course there are antics galore as the Warners try to help. The hosts discuss their knowledge of James Bond and of Sean Connery. See if you can catch Kelly’s Indiana Jones reference that even Joey almost misses.
After “From Burbank with Love,” Dr. Scratchansniff takes a cruise to get away from the Warners, but unfortunately they are on the boat too! Dr. Scratchansniff gets more and more injured until he is in a body cast, but at least he ended up having a good time… that is until he receives his bill. This is a funny segment, but do the Warners go to far with their pranks this time?
When You’re Traveling
Yakko sings a song about time. It’s pretty educational, but Nathan believes it holds a deeper meaning! Is this the final evidence needed that proves the Warners are time lords? Only TIME will tell!
