Join Joey, Nathan, and Kelly for the seventh episode of the “Animanicast!” A podcast dedicated to the classic 90s cartoon show Animaniacs! This time they cover episode 7, “Piano Rag” and “When Rita Met Runt”.

Each and every week, your hosts revisit an episode of the series in the order in which they first premiered. They discuss their favorite jokes, gags, and discuss all the cultural references they can find! Each episode is then given a “Water Tower Rating” by the hosts. Piano Rag
- The Warners attempt to escape from Dr. Scratchansniff, Hello Nurse, and Ralph. In the process, they end up hiding out in the concert hall of the great Tympanini. At first they think he’s a magician, but after they quickly realize he won’t pull a rabbit out of his pants they proceed to drive him crazy all while escaping capture. In the end, the Warners play the piano and sing a cute song. This cartoon has a basic premise but your hosts are still able to make connections to The Who, Arsenio Hall, and discuss the tickling habits of Mr. John Rhys-Davies. When Rita Met Runt
- The first Rita and Runt cartoon is discussed. Rita and Runt are left at the pound and before they are put to sleep, they work together to escape! Connections to the movie “Rain Man” and “The Jerk” are discussed as well as our memories of Bernadette Peters in movies and musicals.
