Animaniacs S01E41 Broadcast Nuisance/Raging Bird

Each and every week, your hosts revisit an episode of the series in the order in which they first premiered. They discuss their favorite jokes, gags, and discuss all the cultural references they can find! Each episode is then given a “Water Tower Rating” by the hosts. How many water towers will this episode get?

Buttermilk, It Makes a Body Bitter

Slappy stars in a parody of the “Milk, It Does a Body Good” ads from the eighties and nineties. Joey and Kelly share their memories of watching original milk ads and listen to an example of one.

Broadcast Nuisance

The Warners deliver a sandwich to Dan Anchorman and don’t get a tip! Regardless of whether or not they actually deserve one, they spend the cartoon driving the conceded Anchorman insane!

Nathan and Joey discuss how the episode originally had much more violence and Dan Anchorman was originally called Slam Fondlesome! To see a video of deleted scenes click HERE.

Joey and Nathan talk about the cartoon, “Bambi vs. Godzilla.” To see that epic cartoon click HERE.

Raging Bird

The Goodfeathers are back! This time, Bobby tries to make sure no one else is “cooing” with his girlfriend. This cartoon references both “Raging Bull” and “Rocky.” Two films that Joey and Nathan haven’t seen, but luckily Kelly has. Favorite moments, gags, and adult innuendos are all discussed.
