It’s time for the Animanicast with an interview with Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain writer Peter Hastings!
Join your hosts Joey, Nathan and Kelly in the “Animanicast!” A podcast dedicated to Animaniacs and its sister shows in the “Rueggerverse.” Today the hosts welcome writer/producer Peter Hastings! Peter wrote some of the funniest episodes of Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain. He also served as producer of the Pinky and the Brain spinoff, directed “The Country Bears,” and executive produced “The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants” for Netflix. Peter shares his memories of working on Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain as well as other projects. He shares some of his writing techniques and gives some suggestions for aspiring writers and voice actors who want to get into the business. He also provides us some behind the scene stories from the development of some of his most famous cartoons such as the “Pinky and the Brain Christmas Special.”
