Animaniacs Reboot News

Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, Jess Harnell and Maurice LaMarche are returning next year as the voices of the Warners and Pinky and the Brain! VO Buzz Weekly recently released a great interview with Rob, Tress and Jess where they discussed the excitement of returning to the new series and they even revealed a few tidbits of information on the series. Tress MacNeille mentioned that she thought  the Warners “say as much” as they did in the original. Later she also mentions that the Warners look a little different and that the people that they interact with look very different.

Joey, Nathan and Kelly  have a discussion on what this might mean and why Warner Bros might be putting off any official announcements or trailers. The hosts talk about how the look of a series has a big effect on people’s perceptions of  the show and whether or not they’ll like the show. From Yoda in The Phantom Menace to the new designs of the Thundercats in Thundercats Roar, the look of the characters has a huge influence on whether or not the show is accepted by the audience. Will the reboot have a drastically new look? We’ll just have to wait and see!
