Agents of SHIELD: Case Files #520: The One Who Will Save Us All
Talbot takes Coulson to the Remorath ship and makes the alien invaders kneel before him. Phil is pretty sure that things are getting out of hand, but tries his best to keep the newly powered Talbot in check, while learning more of the alien Confederacy. Back at the lighthouse, Daisy returns with a duffle bag, containing the remnants of her mother and has a little disagreement with Yo-Yo. Once May calls a timeout, Daisy tells Simmons to start working on the centipede serum to save Coulson. Yo-Yo, on the other hand, tries to reconnect with Mack, but he seems more than a little cold towards her. With the help of Quovas, Talbot manages to get an audience with the members of the Confederate. They are less than impressed until he absorbs one of them to clear his way to become the leading member. Coulson knows this won’t go well when he discovers that one of the members is a Kasius. But Talbot is too far gone to listen to reason. Once Daisy and May arrive in the newly space-worthy Quinjet, Talbot believes they are trying to stop him, which leads to the submission of Phil Coulson. Jay and Josh wonder which of the staff’s duffle bag is emanating the curious smell on this week’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Case Files.
