The ARGcast gets a touch of the fairer sex as we are joined by author of Destiny of a Gamer, retro gamer, and cosplayer extraordinaire Katie da Silva! She chats about what her upcoming book is all about, plans for a series, the games that helped shape her as a gamer, and her cosplaying ventures. Learn more about a literary tale that can be briefly described as Ready Player One meets Alice in Wonderland.

Along with that, we also discuss the sad tale of the Daredevil game that would never be. What went wrong? Why doesn’t the “man without fear” have more video game representation? What is the recipe to a good Daredevil game today? We then close up the show with more Sonic the Hedgehog and Sega’s announced intention to make the blue blur an “entertainment icon”. Is it too little too late, or could this mark a resurgence for the chili dog-eating mascot? Gotta know fast!

The Stage of History opens the gates for some all time classics. This includes the LucasArts gem and Maniac Mansion followup Day of the Tentacle, the crown jewel of 3D platforming on the N64 Banjo-Kazooie, and the funktastic Dreamcast title Jet Set Radio(oooooooooo!). We also have games to give away! Don’t miss out on your chance to get the first ever “booze-em-up” VA-11 HALL-A and the tower defense / third person shooter hybrid Iron Brigade. Snatch ’em up, ARGonauts!
